Hey everyone. Today is September 11th, 2025, and yesterday, Charlie Kirk passed away. He got shot in the neck. And when I saw the video, I knew his chance of survival was almost zero because the bullet struck his neck and you could see the blood flying out. It pierced the jugular, and when you damage the jugular, blood comes out so fast. I think it tore the jugular. So I could not watch any more of it.
Charlie Kirk is a controversial figure in the sense that he goes around college campuses and university campuses having open dialogues and open debates. He was a pioneer in this approach, and it required real courage to walk into hostile environments where his views were unwelcome. Modern-day college campuses are overwhelmingly left leaning and liberal. This shift in academic culture is well documented.
Yesterday, he was shot at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. It was brutal. The loss hit me hard, and I know it affected countless others. As a 53 year old Canadian, I may not be an American citizen, but our countries share the same fundamental values. We are essentially family.
And as a former Vietnamese refugee, I understand how communism works. I understand how socialism works. And a lot of stuff he talked about I already knew. You know, as someone who is 53, who is red pilled, who is centrist, I would not say I am a conservative. I would not say I am left, definitely not left leaning, but I am a centrist. I am right in the middle. I am more of a libertarian.
It was devastating. The news spread rapidly across social media, with countless people sharing the footage and expressing their shock at this brutal attack on a prominent conservative voice.
The Ukrainian Girl’s Story
But what is more painful was, before that happened, for 24 to 48 hours, all I watched and did research on and studied was this beautiful Ukrainian girl, Iryna Zarutska. I might be pronouncing it wrong, but I was watching it. You know, if you have a chance, look it up. This video might be old by the time you watch it. But she was stabbed in the throat on the Charlotte light rail on August 22nd, 2025.
And it was sad. It was not just sad because she got stabbed in the throat, but what happened to her? Like, people started showing screen captures of her last minutes of life, and it was so heartbreaking.
You know, when you get hurt, especially if you are not a trained fighter or combatant, your body goes into shock and disbelief. And when she got stabbed in the throat, she looked at her assailant and she was in disbelief. Maybe her body was in pain and her mind was trying to figure out what was going on.
And what happened was, there are still videos of her reeling from the stabbing because it is a physical reaction. And then her body went into shock and disbelief. And then she started crying. She covered her eyes. In her mind, she could not figure out why someone would stab her. Some stranger. And then she collapsed. And then blood went everywhere.
Worse yet, there were four or five other passengers. Now, I am going to point out details that might offend people. There were like four passengers sitting on the other side and no one came to help. And I want to point out certain details, certain things that I observed.
All the passengers were from the black community, and they probably are used to or have a coping mechanism to deal with the chaos and the craziness of what is happening in the black community, and they did not want to get involved. And I am sure when this black assailant got up and stabbed her a couple of times, and then she cringed, and then she covered her eyes, and then she collapsed over, they did not want to get involved. They have become callous to the violent crime, the chaos, the destruction.
This video was suppressed. The mainstream media did not even cover it initially. She was stabbed on August 22nd, but the footage was not released until weeks later. Charlotte’s Mayor Vi Lyles was more concerned about discouraging people from sharing the graphic footage than addressing the broader safety issues. While she claimed this was out of respect for the victim’s family, critics saw it as prioritizing narrative control over justice for Iryna.
I do not know this person, but she died alone, questioning her self worth, wondering why this happened to her.
The Connection and Cultural Problems
And I think Charlie Kirk and all these other people, we talk about culture, and we have this huge debate about culture. But I honestly believe that the black community has a major optics problem, a major stereotype problem.
You know, when there is robbing, when there is killing, all sorts of stuff, the media will never mention the race, but everyone knows. Everyone knows. We are all silent about it. It is like a dirty little secret. No one wants to say anything.
And this is why the mayor of Charlotte did not want to release the video. They claimed that if the video was released, it would be racist. You do not even have to mention the assailant’s name or who they are. And I bet you, if they asked 100 people to bet, 90 percent of the population, if they are honest, or even higher, would probably guess the race of that person.
And we need to come to terms as a society about what is going on. We cannot simply blame Democrat run cities for these tragedies. We cannot keep making excuses. And I think Charlie Kirk was approaching this sensitive topic. He was getting close to addressing it directly, but I think he was waiting for the right time to articulate it.
And I think his death is going to cause a lot of people to just be more blunt because it affects us. It affects us. Like, people do not go to malls. People do not want to go on trains because it affects us.
I am going to say things. I am just going to put things out. I am not going to say things carefully. The black community has a real optics problem, okay? Because two things are happening. There is no safety net in terms of generational values.
So if you look at the black community, I do not know what the stat is now, but I think it is like 78 percent of kids are born out of wedlock. Not just born out of wedlock, raised by a single mom. Now, try raising a child when you are a single mom and trying to work full time. It is brutal. It is brutal. So you are not around raising your children. You may scream and shout and threaten punishment because you are exasperated, but you are not instilling very deep values.
And your children start hanging around their friends. And so it is the blind leading the blind. And eventually they start living a double life. A life where at home they act a certain way and at school and in public they act a certain way. And so if you watch the black community, they talk about gang culture, where the gang culture is so prevalent and there is such a heavy pull, and if you do not join a gang, you get beat up.
In other cultures, when there is a single mom, the parents, the grandparents can step up and help raise the children. But in the black community, this has been going on for so long now that the grandmother is like 40 or 35, and then they have a daughter who is like 21 or 18, and she is pregnant. And so it is just like there is not enough time to create stability. And now you are seeing a ripple effect. And then you are seeing more and more schizophrenia, mental illness in the black community because of this chaos, this destruction.
And then we blame it on the government and stuff. But I think the problem is, there is no accountability. There is no shaming. There is no one standing up and saying, “What is going on? What is going on?”
So we need to ask ourselves, is there a cultural thing or does it go deeper? And I do not want to address that issue because I am not a scientist. But we need to go wherever the findings lead us.
Political Engineering vs Personal Responsibility
And if you look at what is going on politically, the left is leaning toward social engineering, where things are happening because of this, this, and this. Not because of personal responsibility, not because of values, not because we take pride in how we navigate our life.
And this is why there is a huge fight. There is a massive debate about this. These are the patterns I am observing in our society.
And a lot of times we exercise self censorship because we do not want to have our job or finances in jeopardy. I think more and more people will speak up because we see things. You know, if you realize that we are basically very smart primates, and a survival mechanism is pattern recognition, trying to scan and figure out what is going on.
For example, our ancestors learned: avoid this berry because ten people who ate it got sick or died, eat that one instead. They knew not to camp in certain areas and to seek others. Go to the sunny spot with shade and fresh water. Avoid the place with bees and mosquitoes that will make you miserable.
This is survival through pattern recognition. But when you are told not to trust what you observe, when you are forced to ignore obvious patterns, you begin to doubt your own instincts. This self-doubt erodes your confidence, your sense of reality, and ultimately your identity. That is exactly what is happening in our society today.
Charlie Kirk’s Legacy and Values
I think more and more people need to be more like Charlie Kirk and just stand up and say, “Hey, the emperor has no clothes. This is what is going on.” I wrote about this in my Facebook post. I said, he spoke bluntly and unapologetically. He talked about stuff that people who are red pilled already know about.
But what impressed me was that he lived by his values. He is a Christian. He raised two children. He has a beautiful wife. He went from campus to campus talking. And he cared about this country. He loved this country.
And it is so sad. I am just shocked that so many people know who he is. I thought I was just one of those people who watched him, because I never shared his videos. And I am 53 years old, and I wanted to see what this young man talked about.
The Parallel Tragedies
So now you have this parallel incident happening. And the liberals have a major optics problem. I wanted to go into more details about how there are certain things I want to talk about, but is it appropriate? I do not know. Because people do not think deeply about things. At the same time, we all have our own filters and biases.
Anyway guys, prayers out to Charlie Kirk’s family. Prayers out to Iryna Zarutska’s family. She is becoming the face of the centrist, the right. Charlie Kirk definitely is going to be a martyr. And it is going to galvanize people.
And people may not come out and say it, but people will say it with their actions. I am going to shoot another video talking about what I predict is going to happen in the future. People are choosing where to live, how to spend their money. And you are going to see more and more self segregation until we can come to terms with the reality of things. Until we can come to terms with the honesty.
The facts: Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. Hours before his death, he had posted about Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee who was stabbed and killed by repeat offender Decarlos Brown on Charlotte’s light rail on August 22, 2025. Both tragedies have sparked national debates about public safety, criminal justice reform, and political violence.
